These last few weeks have been great, we learned about romesco sauce, bacon and dates’ delicious duet, and the flavor of a Reuben is just as good on a grass fed burger. This week, we’re going to Greece, home of the Olympics, land of my favorite ethnic foods, and the origin of Jimmy the Greek. Our newest burger of the week is dedicated to the great flavors that always come from Greek food, so first we blended Greek spices (oregano, mint, chives, and much more) with our Q7 Ranch grass fed beef. The smell from the meat and spices combo is incredible, the smell as it cooks is even better. As we are cooking the burger to a perfect medium, we cut a baked-that-morning-fresh artisan roll and spread our house made tzatziki sauce on the top and bottom and we layer it with fresh red onions, cucumbers, and tomatoes. Simple sometimes is better to get the full flavor, and this is one of those times. The Greek is a favorite of many people I’ve talked to throughout at Etno Village Grill, so come in and try it, before your shot at heaven in a bun goes out the window…
